Ben Holladay papers
Papers of a railroad and real estate promoter with enterprises in Oregon, California, and elsewhere. The papers include letters; letterpress copybooks; court documents; genealogical materials; and a scrapbook (1872) regarding political issues. The materials relate to Ben Holladay's personal matters; real estate ventures; Seaside House, his home on the Oregon coast, and legal matters concerning the Oregon Central Railroad.

Collection consists of photocopy manuscript letters from Isabel Holland, Canyonville, Oregon, to her mother, Nebraska City, Kansas, 1856 and 1863; and a photocopy manuscript letter from John St. John, West Point, Iowa, to Lydia Holland, his aunt, 1866, regarding family in Oregon.

The images are a head and shoulders portrait of Hollister; a full-length portrait of Hollister as matron of honor at a 1935 wedding; and a photograph, credited to the Army Air Forces, of Hollister in uniform.

Hollywood Place photograph albums
Two copies of a photograph album with the text "Hollywood Place / August 1922" printed on the cover in gold. The albums each contain the same five black and white photographs of the grounds, plantings, and landscaping at a residence, possibly the W. C. Holman residence on SW Riverside in the Dunthorpe area of Portland, Oregon. One album also contains four additional loose black and white prints, depicting additional scenes of plantings, grounds, and a tennis court.

Marshall, and Donald M. Nelson. Also included are certificates and photographs.
Sophia Jarvis Holman estate account book
Collection consists of a manuscript account book containing an account of the distribution of Sophia Holman's estate, 1867-1870, kept by her son, Charles Holman. Volume also includes account records of James A. Malarkey and Fannie E. Malarkey, 1934. Sophia Jarvis Holman (1812-1867) was born in London, England, and emigrated to the United States in 1849. She lived in Brooklyn, New York, until her husband's death in 1865, when the family came to Portland, Oregon.
