This series contains photographs taken and collected by Drake of members of the Homer Davenport family of Silverton, Oregon, and the related Geer family. Homer Davenport (1867-1912) was a political cartoonist of national prominence who was born near Silverton and who is also credited with bringing Arabian horses to the United States.
