Informing of a change in the King's orders: the Sandwich Islands [Hawaii] and Carolines are to be omitted and the expedition is to go to the Philippines instead; the Malacca Straits are to be omitted and the ships should instead go to Canton and on to the Friendship Islands; the return to Spain is to be via Montevideo and not via the Cape of Good Hope since the King has plans for another ship to go around the world; all crew members are to be paid in Montevideo.
