Sixty-four black-and-white photographs of the 1928 Pendleton Round-Up in Pendleton, Oregon, taken by amateur photographer Edward L. Zimmer of Portland, Oregon. The photographs depict rodeo events and participants, including Turk Greenough, Bob Crosby, and Dick Shelton. Approximately half the photographs have captions with identifying information.

Biographical Note

Edward Louis Zimmer (1893-1980) was an amateur photographer who regularly attended the Pendleton Round-Up. He worked as a special agent for the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway and lived in Portland, Oregon, from 1911 until his death in 1980.
