Scope and Contents

Collection consists of 12 black and white cartes-de-visite and one matted oversize photograph. The cartes-de-visite, taken circa 1879, pare studio portraits of individual members of the Patterson family: Frank Cyrus Patterson, Allen D. Patterson, Caroline Tatum Patterson, Francis Austin Patterson, Narcisse Patterson, Pink Charles Patterson, William Herbert Patterson, Doc Payton Patterson, George Sheridan Patterson, Henry Richard Patterson, Isaac Lee Patterson and Maude Levena Patterson. The oversize photograph is a studio portrait of the Patterson family, dated May 6, 1899, in a handwritten note on the back.
