One album containing 104 black and white photographs, taken circa 1898-1908, which primarily depict unidentified people, scenes near Salem, Oregon, and scenes in other Oregon and Washington locations, including Portland, Oregon; Buena Vista, Oregon; Sodaville, Oregon; Vancouver, Washington; and Yakima, Washington. Subjects include residences; landscapes; individuals and groups, both adults and children; dairy farming and livestock; hunting and fishing; boating; dogs and cats; and parades. Handwritten notes provide dates, identifications, or other remarks for some of the photographs. Identified subjects and locations include: P. J. Flint's ranch in Yakima, Washington; Mrs. J. O. Davidson's house; J. Tedrow's house; First Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon; E. Evans' house; J. E. Rhodes' house; General Grant's house in Vancouver, Washington; Dickinson family farm; Emma Walker's grave; J. M. Butler's camp in Sodaville, Oregon; Chris Peterson's house; Buena Vista, Oregon; Highland School; downtown Salem, Oregon.
