Scope and Contents
Two lithographs depicting Sir Francis Drake. One, engraved by Nicolas de Larmessin, 1682, 14 x 18.8 cm, has been excised from a larger work, and is a head and shoulders portrait of Drake, with one hand resting on a globe. The other, engraved by J. June, circa 1740-1770, 14 x 23.1 cm, is a head and shoulders portrait of Drake inside a decorative oval.
