Scope and Contents

Three pen and ink drawings by Anthony F. Dumas, depicting the exteriors of theater buildings in Portland, Oregon. One drawing, dated 1933, shows the Orpheum Theatre. The other two drawings, both made on the same page and dated 1935, show the Portland Theatre (also known as the Paramount Theatre) and the Pantages Theatre. Below each of these two drawings is the written the name of the architect who designed the building: Rapp & Rapp, of Chicago, and DeYoung & Roald, associate architects, under the Portland Theatre drawing; and Marcus R. Priteca under the Pantages drawing.
