Administrative history
Citizens for Children was formed in 1973 to "serve as an advocate for children in all aspects of their needs." The organization monitored legislation for children and agencies addressing children's needs, and sponsored conferences on issues pertaining to children. Citizens for Children was disbanded in 1987.
