Album containing 170 black and white photographs, 1908-1930, primarily depicting scenes in California, particularly in Santa Cruz. Subjects include houses, the pier, the beach, trains, and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. A significant number of images depict unidentified battleships and boats. Other locations include Monterey, Del Monte, and San Francisco, California, including scenes of damage from the 1906 earthquake. A small number of photographs depict scenes in Walsenburg, Colorado, primarily trains and groups of people, with one man identified as J. M. Campbell. Many pages have handwritten notes that provide locations, dates, or identifications.
