Album containing 29 black and white photographs, 1892, taken by Benjamin A. Gifford and primarily depicting rivers, waterfalls and mountains in Oregon, Washington, and California, particularly in the Columbia River Gorge. Subjects include: Mossbrae Falls, Mount Shasta, Shasta Springs, and the Sacramento River in California; Mount St. Helens and Castle Rock (now known as Beacon Rock) in Washington; and Willamette Falls, Celilo Falls, Mount Hood, Portland, Bridal Veil Falls, the Pillars of Hercules, Multnomah Falls, Horsetail Falls, Rooster Rock, Latourell Falls, Oneonta Gorge, and Oneonta Bluff in Oregon.
