The collection consists of a poster featuring portraits of each member of the Oregon Senate during the 71st session of the Oregon State Legislature, held in 2001. The poster also includes the autographs of all senators.

Historical Note
The Senate for the 71st session of the Oregon State Legislature, held in 2001, consisted of 16 Republicans and 14 Democrats. Republican Gene Derfler was the Senate president; Republican Tom Hartung was president pro tempore; Republican David Nelson was majority leader, and Democrat Kate Brown was minority leader.
