Scope and Contents

Collection of five tintypes and 26 photographs, primarily black and white cabinet photographs, with two hand-colored and one color, circa 1886-1975. The images depict members of the Sainpolis and Darby families, mostly unidentified. Identified subjects include "Mother Pilcher," Pearl Sainpolis, William Emra Darby, and La Verne P. Darby. The photographs were taken largely in Michigan, in Montana, and in Ontario, Canada.
