Collection consists of a manuscript biographical sketch of Aceneth Hosford, 6 pages, circa 1850-1900; a photocopy family record, circa 1850-1900, with genealogical information; and a marriage certificate, 1884, for C. W. Peck and Lulu M. Moore. Hosford's first name is spelled "Acenath" and "Acenith" in these materials.

Aceneth Hosford (1828-1896), nee Glover, was an emigrant to Oregon, settling in Mt. Tabor. She was the wife of Reverend Chauncy O. Hosford and the mother of Captain Olin W. Hosford. Spellings of her first name vary and include Acenith, Aceneth, Asenath, and Acenath.
