Scope and Contents

Eight black and white photographs, circa 1880-1919, of Alaska scenes, including sled dogs, miners, trains and mining towns. Most have descriptions inscribed in the image, and some are marked as being photographs by J. Dooley Dawson. Each print has the following note on the back, handwritten in two different colors of ink: "From Mrs. James Myers / To Mary."
