Historical note

The Morris Marks house, built in 1882 for a Portland, Oregon shoe and boot merchant, was originally located at 321 SW 9th St. It may have been designed by prominent Portland architect Warren Heywood Williams. The French Victorian-style structure was moved numerous times and was at 1501 SW Harrison Street and belonged to Wallace K. Huntington at the time the photographs in this collection were taken.

Huntington at the time the photographs in this collection were taken.
