This oral history interview with Alfred Krohn was conducted by Charles Digregorio at the Oregon Historical Society in Portland, Oregon, on November 17, 1976, as part of the oral history program at the society's research library.

In this interview, Krohn discusses his family background and speaks at length about the career of his father, Robert Krohn, as a music and physical education teacher in Portland. Biographical note

Alfred Krohn was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1897. A few years later, he and his family moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1925, he and Jane Campbell were married. He died in 1990.
