Historical note

The sailing ship "Aspice" was a full-rigged steel ship built in 1894 by Mackie & Thomspon in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1900, the ship was sold to Navigazione General and renamed Sant Erasmo. Five years later, Theodor & F. Eimbcke bought the ship, renaming it again to Seerose. In 1909, Seerose was sold again and its named changed to Akties Aggi and later, Aggie Norge.
