Matted black and white photograph, circa 1900, depicting a grade school class in either Portland or Lake Oswego, Oregon. The students are standing in four rows on the steps in front of the school; their teacher is standing with the students in the second row from the top. A smaller inset photo depicts the exterior of the school building. On the back of the mat is the handwritten note: "Portland or Oswego school, ca. 1900 / Harold Anderson next to teacher."
