Photographs and papers of the family of Captain Robert Young and his wife, Elizabeth Koontz Young. Includes materials relating to Portland, Oregon; Toledo, Washington; and Corry, Pennsylvania. Photographs include a picture of Robert Young and his brother, and a framed photograph of a woman, probably the mother of Mary Margaret McGovern. Other materials consist of baptism and marriage certificates; a board on which are pasted envelopes from correspondence between Robert Young and Elizabeth Young, Robert Young's identification card, and a portrait of Robert Young; "White House Cookbook" covers; and publications about Fairbanks, Alaska, mentioning Robert Young's time there during the Klondike Gold Rush.
