The collection consists of John Schmitt's scrapbook of newspaper clippings about organists who performed in Portland, Oregon, or whose performances aired on Portland radio stations. Organists represented in the scrapbook include Jesse Crawford, Frank D. C. Alexander, Glenn Shelly, and Ollie Wallace. At the front of the scrapbook are several loose clippings, and a letter from Jesse Crawford to Schmitt.
