Bound account book, 1 volume, with entries from June 11, 1869, to December 31, 1869, and one entry from March 1873. On the front is a label with a stamp that reads: "Hiram Terwilliger / Oregon Seed Store / 113 First Street / Portland, Ogn." Handwritten below the stamp is the text "Blotter 1869."

Biographical note

Hiram Terwilliger operated a feed store, the Oregon Seed Store, in Portland for a year and a half beginning in 1869, and had a dairy business in Tillamook. He later donated the land that became Terwilliger Park in Portland.
