Eric Gustavus Michelson prints of dams in Oregon
Scope and Contents
Collection includes two color prints of dams, circa 1953. The prints, by Eric Gustavus Michelson, are artist's renderings made for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, one depicting an aerial view of The Dalles Dam and the Columbia River, 51 x 30.5 cm, and one showing a sectional view of the powerhouse of the McNary Dam, 56 x 43 cm. Both dams were under construction at the time the renderings were created.
