Scope and Contents
Collection includes binders with first day of issue covers, circa 1958-1981, 9 volumes, including series commemorating Captain James Cook by artist Charles Lundgren and the Bicentennial in 1976. Also included are binders of first day covers with commemorative medals, 1971, 2 volumes, from series "Great Historic Sites of America" and "United Nations Association of America" from the Franklin Mint; a binder describing commemorative medals, circa 1976, 1 volume, for the series "The Fifty-State Bicentennial Medal Collection"; and a folder of miscellaneous material relating to antique collecting and Sir Francis Drake, circa 1970-1979.
