Biographical note
Theodore Wygant (1831-1905) was an early pioneer businessman who came to Oregon City, Or., in 1850 and ran steamboating and real estate businesses there. Wygant married Margaret Glen Rae, granddaughter of John McLoughlin, in 1858, and they had one daughter, Nellie A. Wygant (later Winch).
