Oral history interview with Herbert A. Schroeder
Scope and Contents
This oral history interview with Herbert A. Schroeder was conducted in four sessions by Herman LeRoy Grafe in March 1975. In this interview, Herbert A. Schroeder discusses his family background, including homesteading in Oregon, running a sawmill, and logging. Willis Raymond Grafe and Lois Lennox were also present and contributed to the interview. The audio of the first two interview sessions is very poor; there is bleed-through of choral music and the speakers’ voices echo. The tapes also contain several minutes of unrelated audio content.
