Biographical note

William Pollman was born in Quincy, Illinois, in 1867 and came to Oregon in 1889. He married Emma Geiser in 1896 and was a businessman in Baker County, Oregon. He formed a partnership with J.A. Geddes and together they ran a successful meat business.
