Henry Hall letter book
Summary
Digitized version of letter book owned by Henry Hall, a principal backer of the Columbia River Fishing and Trading Company and namesake of Fort Hall. The book, copied from original documents by an unknown person, contains correspondence, corporate documents, instructions, and agreements spanning the period of November 10, 1833 to May 26, 1837. Correspondents include Nathaniel J. Wyeth, Captain Joseph Thing, J.L. Lambert (captain of the company vessel, May Dacre), and various shareholders and employees of the company. The letter book is part of Mss 938, the Columbia River Fishing and Trading Company records.
