Scope and Contents
In the thirty-first interview session, conducted on July 9, 1993, Atiyeh continues to discuss his efforts towards Oregon’s economic development and talks about how the state fared during recessions. He continues discussing his second term as Oregon governor, with a focus on the 1985 legislative session. He talks about the creation of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and about legislation regarding taxes.
