Scope and Contents
The collection consists of materials collected and created by journalist Jon Tuttle of Portland, Oregon, relating to the Rajneesh in Oregon. Materials created by Tuttle primarily consist of scripts for news stories that he produced for television news station KGW. Collected materials include newspaper clippings and issues, magazines, court documents, press releases, and other publications. Newspapers and magazines in the collection include issues of the British and German editions of the Rajneesh Times, The Dalles Weekly Reminder, the Oregonian, the Rajneesh Newspaper, and Stern magazine. Some magazine and newspaper materials, including the issues of Stern, are in German. One magazine and one article are in Italian, and one article is in Ukrainian. The collection also contains some correspondence and ephemera.
