From the Collection:

Collection of images from commercial photography projects by Portland, Oregon, photographer William Grand. The photographs were taken from approximately 1953 to 1969 and consist of 648 negatives, most black and white; 43 contact sheets, most black and white; and 35 prints, all black and white. Subjects include graphic designer Charles Politz, painter Albert Patecky, and composer Blanche Patecky; images of Albert Patecky’s paintings; the Equitable Savings and Loan home office designed by Pietro Belluschi; Rose Festival events at the Equitable Center; and Equitable Savings and Loan branch locations throughout Oregon. The photographs also depict scenes from the law school at Lewis & Clark College; a performance by the Norman Luboff choir at Lewis & Clark College; and the construction of St. Vincent's Hospital.
