Scope and Contents
Tape 8, Side 1, through Tape 10, Side 1. In the fourth interview session, conducted on August 5, 2011, Heintzman discusses national labor legislation that benefited ATU members. He speaks about participating in contract negotiations as president of ATU Local 757, about Governor Neil Goldschmidt’s worker compensation reform, and about ATU’s relationship with the AFL-CIO. He also discusses the history of ambulance driver and paramedic membership in ATU Local 757.
