Scope and Contents
The Jan de Graaff house was designed by California architect Richard Neutra, and Bailey was engaged as the local supervising architect. Bailey’s significant contribution was to alter the original plans for stucco exterior walls to vertical cedar siding, a material that was better suited to Portland’s climate.
