He describes the creation of TriMet, and speaks further about the pension benefit he negotiated for ATU Local 757 members. He talks about using the threat of a strike as a negotiating tactic, shares his thoughts about involving lawyers in collective bargaining, and shares his memories of a strike at the Oregonian in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
