Artwork and writings, circa 1970-1987
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of the papers of Eunice C. Brandt, including correspondence; manuscripts and published copies of her stories; and records relating to properties and businesses with which she was connected, such as the Deepwood Estate in Salem, Oregon. Other materials of note are sketches and designs, and a two-volume scrapbook documenting Brandt's contact with her son Philip "Jesse" Brandt while he was living in southeast Asia during the 1960s and 1970s. The scrapbook is titled, "The Draft Dodger, by a Gold Star Country That Lost a Son."
