In this 3-page typewritten account, E. Mowbray Tate (born 1902) shares his memories of climbing Mount St. Helens while spending summers at the YMCA camp on Spirit Lake in 1915 and 1916. He describes being struck by a falling boulder during a climb in 1915, and being carried down the mountain.
