Scope and Contents
The collection consists of the records and memorabilia of the Professional Woman's League of Portland, Oregon. In addition to correspondence, financial records, rosters, and yearbooks that list the organization's bylaws and members, the collection includes bound volumes compiled by the recording secretary with meeting minutes, reports, and clippings. The collection also includes a file of letters sent to the organization by notable figures such as the Irish dramatist and nationalist Lady Gregory and U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt.
