Confirming that Malaspina has arrived in Acapulco after a fifty-eight day journey from Realejo [Nicaragua] ; orders have been received by Malaspina regarding verification of the Atlantic Passage; meanwhile several naturalists have been left in Mexico to join Malaspina in Manila; other officials led by Dionisio Galiano are left for the purpose of charting geographical areas ; copies of accounts to be forwarded to Valdés.
