Scope and Contents
The collection consists of papers relating to William H. Truenbach's education through International Correspondence Schools and his brief career in architecture. The International Correspondence Schools papers include exams, certificates, instructional sheets for mechanical drawing, and Truenbach's own mechanical drawing assignments, which illustrate various machine components. Architectural papers include: Plans for the residence of Joseph H. Boon in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland, Oregon; plans for an "English lodge"; plans for unidentified residence(s); and floor plans for a boarding house. With the exception of the Joseph H.
