Tape 56, Side 2, through Tape 58, Side 1. In the thirty-ninth interview session, conducted on August 30, 1993, Atiyeh discusses Oregon politics since he left elected office in 1987. He talks about the members of Oregon’s congressional delegation; speaks about Oregon business and labor leaders; and talks about members of the Oregon Legislature. He also shares his opinions about national political figures. He reflects on his accomplishments as governor.
