In the twenty-sixth interview session, conducted on June 21, 1993, Atiyeh continues discussing serving as Oregon governor, with a focus on his 1982 reelection campaign and the 1983 legislative session. He also talks about his relationship with President Ronald Reagan’s administration and speaks about campaign funding. He describes his legislative agenda for the 1983 session, particularly regarding taxes, and talks about attending the Western Governors Conference that year.
