Biography

Barbara Kay Roberts, nee Hughey (1936- ) was an Oregon politician and a Democrat. She represented the 17th district in the Oregon House of Representatives from 1981-1985; was Oregon Secretary of State from 1985-1991; and the first woman governor of Oregon from 1991-1995.
