Abstract John Griffith Edwards was an Oregon sheep breeder, owner of Hay Creek Ranch, and partner in Baldwin Sheep and Land Company. Located in present-day Jefferson County, the company became one of the state's largest producers of wool and purebred sheep before it ceased operation in 1910.
