Abstract Hazel Mills worked at the library of the University of Washington, the Oregon State Library and the Washington State Library. She authored and co-authored several books on Pacific Northwest history and was working on a biography of Frances Fuller Victor when she became incapacitated by illness. A small collection of papers of the Oregon historian and author Frances Fuller Victor, including: correspondence with early emigrants to Oregon Jesse Applegate and Jessy Q. Thornton; typescript of a poem; a copy of her work "The Women's War with Whisky"; and a scrapbook of reviews of Victor's works.
