Collection includes account books of Richard Ekin, Salem, Oregon, 1845-1864, as well as correspondence and receipts, 1840-1879, including many letters from his mother, Jane Ekin, and a letter from his sister, Margaret Hurst, to his mother, 1879, regarding his death.
